Isabel Justo

Founder and Director of S.A.M.H - "Suicide and Mental Health Montreal”

Isabel Justo is the founder and director of S.A.M.H, a non profit organization dedicated to helping people find support through difficult times and hope after loss. We provide encouragement through helpful resources, live and virtual group and individual meetings so that we can help to guide you to continue to live happy, meaningful lives while working through grief”.

Isabel facilites a Montréal Suicide loss group (F.S.O.S) that was founded 34 years ago through the McGill school of Social Work as well as a virtual U.S based Suicide loss group.

She is a Mental Health activist who is the organizer of Montréal’s first Mental Health and Suicide Awareness walk, now an annual event. The aim of the walk is to help raise awareness and lessen the stigma around mental illness and suicide.

Isabel is also the owner operator of a meditation and yoga studio where she teaches regularly. She believes in an integrative approach to healing. Her primary mission is in working to give back to the community by helping to ensure that no one should be deprived of the opportunity to get well.
